"Big portions of tapas, acceptable prices of wine and friendly staff."
"Average food, bit pricy for what it offers , nice view and garden area ."
"I loved the spicy sausage, salad and calamari that I ordered."
4 Perfect place to eat after visiting the Prado. Highly recommend it. Queue to get in but moved efficiently thanks to head waitress who managed everything wonderfully. We shared the grilled lamb and green salad. Great food, great value.
4 We went for lunch at 11:30 a.m. and we were seated and got service right away. Very small place, a bit noisy. Waiter spoke English and they had an English menu. Bathroom was super small. The "fried potatoes" (French fries) were homemade and very tasty (if not a bit oily).
5 Very nice place to have a lunch. The waiters were super nice and polite. The food was good. Wine and beer tasted fine too. Overall a pleasant experience!
4 I feel like I was meant to eat here. This is the area I walked to after my morning tour as part 2 of my tour was happening here. I was looking for a place to eat at, but the spot I found wasn't opening for another 20 mins. I circled this spot 3 times until I decided to just make myself go inside. I'm so glad I did. They ended up having great food options. I had enough time to kill and ended up killing 3 plates of food and 2 glasses of wine. By the time I finished it was time to start my second tour at the muse across the street. The food here was delicious. I loved the spicy sausage, salad and calamari that I ordered. Unlike most folks, I dig the mayo dip that went with the calamari. I kilt that serving. The staff were nice. I finished with just enough time to sober up outside while enjoying the sun before I had to meet with my guide to go inside the museum. Came in with zero expectations and left fully satisfied.
4 I wasn’t actually too hungry, but since I really wanted a snack, I decided to stop here and take a break. I chose to sit outside because the atmosphere and view were beautiful, relaxing, and the air was cool and slightly chilly. The service was excellent, and the Spanish food had a unique taste, though it wasn’t very salty—something I noticed as someone who enjoys savory and salty dishes. Overall, this is definitely a place worth trying in Madrid.
5 This was a lovely, cozy place to stop in for a break from the cold, rainy weather after visiting the Prado. We sat at the bar to warm up with some red wine & Tinto de Verano, and Victor happily brought us olives and various other munchies and chatted with us like we were friends. I'd recommend a stop here for at least a coffee or wine, and their tapas menu looked tasty as well!
5 The perfect early dinner spot! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal of monk fish with green salad and ratatouille with Greek salad as my appetizer. The monk fish is big enough to share and so are both salads. I had 2 glasses of wine and the bill was only 57 euros!!! My waitress, Patricia was very accommodating, kind and just excellent at her job. She helped us understand the menu and to order. We sat outside and the atmosphere is perfecto- very fun! It’s located in the middle of an alley among several other outdoor restaurants. Service was fast and friendly. I appreciated that they had water bottled in glass. We closed our dinner with a bowl of fresh fruit. I am so pleased with this place across the board. I will return over and over again!
4 My wife and I popped I got a coffee. We decided to stay as it was a cosy atmosphere, and cold outside! Moha served us and was very patient as we know little Spanish. He brought us an English blackboard menu and assisted us choose our tapas. The food was great, enhanced by the atmosphere and Moha’s attentive service.
Guests often enjoy grilled meats like the lamb, homemade fries, and a variety of healthy and organic small plates. The bar has a great selection of beer, wine, cocktails, and coffee.
It works well for both—a quick snack at the bar or a relaxed sit-down meal, especially if you want to enjoy the cozy, casual atmosphere.
Lunch reservations are recommended since it can get busy around midday, but arriving early or for brunch could be quieter.
The place is suitable for both solo diners and small groups, though it’s relatively small and can be a bit noisy when busy.
